Football
BFS intramural football has been a continued success for the society. We hold trials in fresher’s week to select squads for the competitive 6 or 11 sided leagues, run by the Athletic Union. We also book out pitch time on the weekends for football members training and organise 11-a-side games either intra-society or with other society groups.

Netball
BFS usually post two teams in the intramural league run by the Athletic Union. These teams are made up of BFS netball members who may not be available on a weekly basis. The netball teams are mixed ability and gender and promote a culture of inclusivity and community.

New to 2021/22, BFS hockey has thrived with a weekly team playing in the IMS hockey league. With a squad of 15 players, we look forward to growing this over the years. Both mixed ability and gender, it is a great run around for all and an opportunity to make new friends away from academic settings!
